The Foundation

Changing lives
beyond our communities.

The Grand Oak Communities Foundation walks alongside foster children, foster families, foster adoptive families, and young adults transitioning out of care. Our work is rooted in the biblical calling found in James 1:27a — “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows.”

Success Story

“They stayed with me long after 18.”

“I aged out of foster care with nothing but a duffel bag. The Foundation helped me with a deposit, a mentor, and a scholarship. Today I'm a nurse — and I mentor a young woman doing the same.”

— Jasmine R., Program Alumna
